We found ourselves almost a year ago in a vast need of finding a new property very, very quickly. The main issue was a cat which is obviously problematic when it comes to searching for properties.
Doncaster`s Northwood team was a rescue. They have managed to help us with all of the procedures (especially for us as polish foreigners these were not very obvious and simple) and after a week since we have decided to take the flat, we had our keys and contract signed. (Unfortunately we needed guarantor, but we were lucky to get one) Special thanks to Lindsey!
During our tenancy we couldn`t expect to be treated any better. Whatever maintenance problems we had in a flat it was solved in a nick of time by those agents in highly friendly and professional manner. Very quick to response on phone calls and e-mail, very quick to act. For the inspection arrangements we have been contacted one month in advance. We decided to lengthen our contract for another half a year.
We have just finished our contract and moved somewhere else because of job change. We are getting 3/4 of our deposit back, just waiting for it to be transferred onto account already. There were some deductions for repairs and minor cleaning but wasn`t too much tbh. Nicole was responsible for making it quick and easy. Also, very professional, fast and friendly.
As we were very suspicious and distrustful towards letting agencies at first (had read a lot of about them before, that was our 1st attempt to rent with an agency) then Northwood changed our minds 180 degrees.
We would like to send special thanks as well to:
Jackie - for advisory with moving out procedures and going with us throughout move in process ;
Becci - for solving payment options ;
and the others who were involved anyhow in our tenancy.
We only wish Northwood`s unit had more property options in the place we moved in now...

Comment on agent fees
We paid only referencing and renewal fees for our tenancy. Paid in total around 1150 pounds for 2 bed flat. I would say that`s pretty good :) P.S.: Renewal was about 70 pounds for another 6-mths contract.
