Absolutely disgusting behaviour - the Kennington branch is the reason why Estate Agents have a bad name. They guilt tripped us, charged us way too much for the fees, never helped throughout the year, won't give us back our deposit and let themselves into the flat whenever they wanted. I have never felt less safe living somewhere.

Yes exactly the same experience with her. Was left out in the cold & had organised with family to come and view property on the weekend, so 3 of us all let down. Her remedy was at least to show me the flat during a week day that I had to take off work - and luckily she managed to make it to that appointment.

Returning a tenant's deposit is not the Estate Agent's call, but the Landlord's. Estate Agents hold deposits as independant stakeholders and can only release it with agreement from both Landlord and Tenant.
If you have the wrong end of the stick on this matter, your opinion can hardly be taken seriously and it may be best for you to stay away from these sort of websites.
