The property had been on the market for 6 weeks with very little interest generated by the initial Estate agent. When they were queried on this the agent's response was hard to believe, and subsequently they walked away from the selling process. I was also trying to buy a local property through them, but their subsequent actions with the seller of the house I was trying to buy left me feeling very uncomfortable, and I withdrew my offer to but the said house. There actions were extremely unprofessional. Carson's were subsequently selected as sole agents to sell my house. My experience with the staff from Carson's, could not have been more different. Originally handled by William Von Siegmund from the Woking office, and latterly by Martin Jakins and colleagues from the Lightwater office, their service was excellent. Whereas only 3 viewings had taken place with the initial estate agent over a 6 week period, Carson's generated 23 viewings over the following six weeks. This led to two prospective buyers bidding on the property, and after final bids were received, I was happy to except one of these offers, selling to a family who wrote a charming background letter to me, stating the reasons why they loved the house and the reasons why they wished to purchase it. The sale went through smoothly and to schedule and I was delighted with the service that all staff gave during the selling and completion process. I have maintained contact with the Lightwater office and occasionally drop in for a coffee, when time permits. Carson's are highly recommended.

Myself and my fiancé were really happy with the service we received upon choosing Carsons to list our property, particularly with Martin, Debbie and Steph.
The consistant communication, professionalism and friendliness made what can be a stressful time very pleasant. They understood we wanted a quick sale but also went about getting us the best price in doing so.
They were reactive and efficient when we initially sold the property to a false buyer and quickly booked in lots more viewings upon advising us to relist the property when this occurred.
They have been a pleasure to work with over the months and I thoroughly recommend each individual and Carsons as a whole to any prospective sellers / buyers.

I purchased and sold my property through Carson & Co in Lightwater and both transactions were managed perfectly by Martin and his team. Despite the many hurdles we faced both Martin & Sara dealt with everything in such a professional but understanding way. At times I honestly thought it would never happen but they both spent hours and hours chasing to get the job done. No matter what was thrown at them they dealt with some tricky conversations and endless moaning from me! I don't think anyone feels the fees are justified until you are faced with a 'difficult' sale.... they definitely are worth every penny!! I certainly wouldn't of sold my property if I hadn't of been so fortunate to have such great agents. The only estate agent you should consider using!!

Carson worked very hard to get people through the door and after a very impressive 20 viewings we accepted an offer on our property. Martin successfully negotiated a good offer on our behalf close to asking price. He has been very prompt and helpful throughout the transaction keeping me updated regularly, chasing people in the chain and returning calls and emails. Worth every penny! The whole legal side of buying our first house was very stressful to say the least. It was so frustrating and stressful with no urgency or reassurance from our solicitors.
We explained this to Nish at the Camberley branch and he put us in touch with Melanie Williams the Mortgage progressor with Carsons.
Straight away Melanie was on the case. She put us at ease and gave us the reassurance we needed that everything was going ok. She liaised with the vendor personally along with both our solicitors and ourselves, keeping us in the loop with exactly what was going on. She listened to us, understood our concerns, put us at ease and went the extra yard to progress sale.
We exchanged last week and can't thank Melanie and the Carsons staff enough.
We would highly recommend them

I'm writing this 20 minutes after completion was confirmed and I can honestly say, I couldn't have got to this stage without Melanie's help. Your Lightwater Branch has recently sold my property. I would like to compliment the members of staff as they are a great team.
Although I really want to highlight the work of one of your branch managers Mr Anthony Ravallese. My wife and I have found the whole process stressful due to houses we were buying breaking down as well as our own house where the buyer pulled out late.
Throughout this, Anthony has dealt with difficult situations with apolm, calmness and a lot of thought using his fantastic problem solving skills. Also he explains things in detail so you are not left in the dark and more importantly making the CUSTOMER feel important. He is also extremely modest.
He has gone out of his way to make this work including helping other chain members (doing their agents job for them) with finding removals.
I have run my own property rental business for the last ten years and have met many estate agents, he is one of the best I have ever encountered. You can clearly tell he is dedicated to his job and he cares, but not just about his work, his colleagues and clients.
In my opinion , Anthony is exactly the type of branch manager needed in Lightwater, as the majority of customers are not of a young age and his first class people skills combined with his calm aqnd patient approach is well suited to the area.
