THE WORST AGENCY SERVICE EVER! My flat was broken into and i lost a lot of things that caused a lot of money and i feel unsecured being in this flat anymore since the window is not fixed. Talk to my KFH agent in surrey quays named Lucy, to see if she can help me to fixed the window or if not can she let me move earlier than the contract and her answer is just i couldn't care less, that is not my problem thats your problem with the landlord. The problem is my landlord is very hard to reach, so i was hoping that kfh can help me to get hold of him. Lucy come up with a solution where i can use my 6 months break laws so that i an move one month earlier from our end of contract and told us that the landlord will pay back our rent money for the period when we not occupy the flat. (the last month) So, i said we are going to think about it first and then we receive emails asking whether or not we want to use the break laws. So finally we said yes, however after i said yes, few days later i ask her again that she's sure that i will get my money back, and her answer is she doesn't know, its not her problem and i need to speak to my landlord about asking the money, I was shocked and so i called my landlord but i can't get through to him. Few days later, kfh start emailing me saying they want to photograph my flat to put in their website and want to start bringing prospective tenants when we just got broken into and not exactly feeling secured enough to let stangers in to our flat, in addition we still doesn't know whether we will get our money or not. So we talked to the manager named SARAH which is the rudest person/manager we have ever encountered. She speaks to us in a very rude way, not giving any solutions instead she blaming everything to us and couldn't care less for our incident and problems. All she can think of is to get people in to my flat as soon as possible so that she can earn more money!! Even when we went to her office there's no smile on her face and today one KFH agent come to my flat bringing a prospective tenant and i called KFH, unfortunately ended up talking to SARAH/the manager again, to ask whether they have get new tenants for our flat. Because the landlord mentions that if KFH can find a new tenant during the time when we move out t, he will be happy to returned our money. But SARAH's answer is "we can't get prospective tenants becuase you cant got hold to (in a very RUDE way). The problem is there is only a total of 3 emails which 1 of them is only for photography and the other 2 is to bring prospective tenant in. The only reason why i didnt allow one of them to come in is because its only been a few weeks after my flat was broken into and i allow the other one to come in to see the flat. SARAH in the other hand keeps on saying that we never allow anyone to come in and we are not cooperating with them (in a very RUDE way again) and i told her i let one of her agent in and she keeps on saying no you don't until i told her the agent's name and her response is OKAY, SO WHAT DO YOU WANT NOW? I am EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTED with KFH's way of treating their tenants. I do not wish to deal with KFH anymore, unfortunately i still need to contact them because i still have contract.

They are being particularly incompetent and rude and I am sympathising with your position. Can you tell me have things been resolved or are you still going through difficulties. Not only are they impossible to reach and actively discourage contact, but they also aren't helpful when you do manage to talk to them. The staff seem to know nothing and really do not care about their customers.
While setting up your contract and doing the initial paperwork they will act in an extremely unprofessional manner and will forget/lose important documents. In our experience this led to calls from them days before our move in date (and following all clears from themselves and the landlords) saying that they had forgotten important parts of the process and that the deal would fall through unless we could provide them with bank details (that had already been provided).
At the end of the tenancy they removed money from our deposit without a logical explanation and it took months of emailing to get a reply from them,, and they also would not agree to meet in person or talk things out over the phone.
They'll happily take your money in any way they can. Genuinely one of the worst experiences I've had with any company ever. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Really poor communication, lots of hidden fees on checking in and checking out. Didn't explain anything just emailed forms to sign without any explanation. If they didn't know something they wouldn't find out they would just say they (as an individual) don't deal with it (e.g. I don't deal with the end of leases so don't know how much a check out fee is.) Very blunt and unfriendly on the phone. Not proactive at all, all the work has to come from you.

We have been dealing with Paige - KFH - Canada Water in the lettings department. Very poor service and lack of communication. Requested that the garage would be swept so that our removal team could put furniture etc in there straight away. When we arrived at the property this had not been done. Also the oven still has white cleaning products in there and is still greasy and unable to use it. Rang Paige who informed me that the oven would not come clean because it is not new. I cannot believe this when we have had ovens cleaned over 10 years that come up perfect. Paige comes across as very immature and argumentative. I would highly recommend that if you can find a property with another agency at least you would not be disappointed.

He was also very supportive during the negotiation phase which most likely directly resulted in us getting a significantly better deal than we expected.
Perhaps most surprising was that all of this excellent service was free! We had assumed that when you aren't paying for the service it would be a minimal effort thing or that the agent would be firmly on the side of the seller but to the contrary we felt that we received excellent service all round and would happily recommend Oliver to anyone looking to buy.

All in all, we are very happy with the service KFH provided, especially with Giuseppe's assistance during the sale of our property and Chris' personal support and advice when we started marketing the property.
Giuseppe guided us through the sale with a lot of patience, including facilitating the communication between us and the overseas buyer and helping us to find a good and efficient lawyer. We were particularly pleased that Giuseppe arranged for our furniture to be removed and our mail to be forwarded. This clearly went beyond our expectations and made our lives a lot easier.
Chris was knowledgeable and accomodated our wishes to sell at a certain price even if this meant waiting a longer period of time to find a suitable buyer.
The only reason for removing a star in this review is that when we received the property market updates, we were asked several times to consider lowering the asking price, although we had clearly discussed with Chris that we did not want to do so at that point in time. When speaking to Chris again, we were reassured. This may just be due to a lack of internal communication on the matter. After all, we were happy not to have lowered the asking price for the property and to have found the right buyer with Giuseppe's assistance.
Despite this, our goal to sell before the end of the year was met, which leaves us very happy and grateful for the support. We would therefore recommend the KFH team for all Canada Water sales.

The hunt:
From the very first time we met Keith, we were relieved to find a straight-talking, low pressure and easy going agent. He took us to see three properties on the first day - none of which were to our liking. We almost felt guilty for wasting Keith's time because he was just that nice. As our search continued, we would hear from Keith from time to time, but at no stage was he ever pushy. Later in our search, we asked Keith to show us to a few more places and he naturally obliged. We were more sure of what we wanted now, and felt that Keith was really listening to us and also beginning to understand what would make us happy. We really appreciated that. He seemed to have our best interests at heart, which helped us relax a little and feel comfortable about really explaining the various features that would really make us happy. I have no doubt, that this helped him (and us) finally find the property we eventually purchased... because just as we were close to putting an offer in on a place that he'd shown us earlier, Keith called me up to say 'hold that thought' because he'd found a real gem, which would fit us perfectly. I arranged to meet him the following evening, before the property had been marketed (or even photos taken). I left feeling very excited about it, so my wife went back the next evening and we agreed it was perfect. Keith was clearly incredibly excited for us, as he also knew that it would be a great home for us and our 1 year old son.
The process:
The thing that stood out most during the buying process was Keith's willingness to assist us as first-time buyers and make sure we were not wasting money on things we didn't need to. I can honestly say that Keith went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. He kept us relaxed and I honestly trusted his opinion about things. He was also willing to iron out potential issues and make sure we had as smooth a buying experience as possible. Towards the final days of the purchase, Keith went on leave, but not first before making sure we were completely satisfied and making sure that he'd given us his colleague Chris Early's details. Chris then continued on in the same vane as Keith, in his absence... providing advice, looking for solutions and quickly resolving any complexities that emerged.
The result:
We love our home, and we know the vendors also felt well looked after, which is also important. Because our experience was so positive with Keith and Chris, we decided to buy them each a bottle of champagne as thanks.... which I think is a great testament to the level of service we received from them and a great validation of the very positive nature of this review. I'm sure it's not often that buyers feel that good about their experience that they want to thank the agents in a meaningful way.

KFH represented our seller and we would thoroughly recommend them. Nigel, who we dealt with, was excellent. More than any other estate agent at any other firm we interacted with he understood very quickly what kind of property we were looking for and only suggested/showed us options that matched our preferences. He also worked hard to progress things once the sale was agreed, going the extra mile to make things happen efficiently. One particular intervention was outstanding: right before we were due to exchange there was a potential problem that looked like it could derail the process. Nigel single handedly negotiated a resolution between 3 parts of a chain, while our own estate agent did very little. This really made him (and by extension KFH) stand out as offering exemplary service.
