Their only interest is to let the property and get the commission. They did lie about maintenance work that they said the landlords would carry out but never did. They also put in the inventory a washing machine that wasn't there at the time. They always side the landlord regardless if right or wrong because, as stated by themselves, "the landlord is the client". On top of that they do have a very patronising attitude borderline unrespectful.
Definitely I will never use them again. Appalling.

I am afraid that the information stated by the agent is wrong, the tenancy was fully managed by ACRES Lettings and I am actually shocked that it has taken them 3 years to reply to my review. Feb 06, 2015
We are sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your experience with Acres. Your Landlord had chosen our 'Let Only' package on this occasion and therefore managed the tenancy themselves. We are therefore unable to comment on any maintenance work not addressed by the client.

If you want to have to chase basic things like your statement and rent every month then Acres are the ones for you. All work quoted for at the premises goes to the same firm and always comes back very expensive, fence job quoted at £ 400 ...

Acres response to this review states "We always try to source the best possible quotes for our clients and where possible obtain two quotes.". From personal experience as a tenant of theirs, this is absolutely rubbish. We didn't once have 2 quotes carried out for any single job that was carried out at the property in 15 months (and there were alot jobs carried out unfortunately). Most notably was when a company came around to repair electric gates and quoted £600 for a new circuit board. I felt ...

It took Acres 2 years to reply to this comment to " defend" themselves! Says it all really , dealt with them on a number of occasions and the manager is rude, arrogant, tells lies and couldnt organise an egg and spoon race! ...

Absolutly terrible. The staff are all 2 faced, and definatly dont have the customers best wishes, as they should. We bought a house, they did not help us negotiate, lied to us about how long the house had been vacant for and the state of heating etc. they know we had children and only 2 days to move in, but do decency at all. we moved in to be landed with a £2500 bill, for the electric work, boiler work and huge water leaks in the bathroom and kitchen.
