When I was looking to mortgage my rented property witch I had never done before as I had inherited the property. So, as you can imagine I was a little worried about it and not quiet shore what to do or how to even start the process. After meeting with several mortgage advisers, I just through they were just after the best deal for them and not actually looking out for me (the customer) then I meet Lee. I don't even know how to put this in to words. What I will say is that if your new to the whole mortgage thing then please go and see Lee at Bridgfords in Halifax. After are first meeting he had answered all my questions regardless of how stupid they may have been and he had completely put my mind at rest about the whole thing. The mortgage its self wasn't that straight forward and ended on going on for a few months (through no fault of Lee's) even then he stuck with it and got us to the finish line. If you are un-shore about anything when applying for a mortgage or need someone to get you a good deal then go and see Lee. There isn't anyone else in the Halifax area that I meet that is even anywhere close to his passion or drive for getting the right outcome for the customer.
Comment on agent fees
As for the fees at first you always look and think “how much” but again after you have spoken with Lee about the whole thing you know that it’s a fair price as he just guides you through it and explains everything to you step by step.

The fees you charge for what is a rubbish service are frankly insulting. I switched to another letting agent and got the property rented faster, more efficiently, for less charges, and for £75 more rent pcm.
