Being the ‘said' tenant above, I can assure you we approached AB regarding our very well behaved family cat, who spent most of his time outdoors, prior to accepting the tenancy. We were left hanging and could get no answers. Referencing took over a month, no idea why, we are excellent tenants and only chose to rent due to work commitments, locations, having been a landlord myself in the past am fully aware of all legislation and how to conduct myself, I treat any property as I would my own, with high standards. We were still in the dark as to whether the tenancy would progress 24 hours before we were due to vacate our previous property due to incompetence by AB and then informed no this property had failed it's gas safety check af the very last minute ! So yes, we still had our much loved family pet !! We then had to frantically re home him within 12 hours, all cat rescue shelters full, after a very sharp phone call was received the day after our move, I can only assume secret agents were out in full force !!? We were treated appallingly, asked the right questions well in advance, were ignored and then jumped on - We will never use AB again as once in situ, you are surplus to requirements as all monies paid. Then to read a review where you are classed as someone your LL is ‘stuck with' is quite frankly shocking after what we were put through as a family. Avoid - We left after our 12 month contract expired - No excuse for Ill treatment.
