The agent is particularly unhelpful to prospective buyers. When we requested a home report to inform a booked viewing they do not oblige. Under the Housing (Scotland ) Act 2006 Chapter 3 section 99 (2) states that there is a duty to provide information to potential buyer(1) A person who is responsible for marketing a house which is on the market must comply with any request by a potential buyer for a copy of any or all of the prescribed documents in relation to the house. Peterkin and Kidd failed to provide this information to people do not meet the exemptions criteria under chapter 3, section 99 (3) of the act, ie someone who is not genuine etc.
In all the service provision to prospective buyers is most unfriendly. This particular instance has not been the first time that we've encountered this level of poor service from Peterkin and Kidd and the cumulative effect has led us to provide this poor feedback.
