We was treated really badly by anthony james the welling branch. To cut a long story short they kept our referencing money(which was expected) and deposit, we didnt get the house we wanted to rent because David (director) couldn't do his job properly. We will be seeking further advice on this matter and wanting our Money back . Some of the staff was friendly ill give them that.

Charley.. I'm deeply sorry you had a bad experience. For the avoidance of doubt, the income you could demonstrate was considerably less than you originally declared. In the interests of everyone we do have to check that you can afford the rental each month. In such circumstances it is not reasonable to expect the landlord incur abortive charges and loss of rental. This was highlighted in our terms and conditions which you signed before outset.

My deposit was stolen , very crook people . They waste your time with no reason . Asking people deposit then steal the money . ...

For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.

We don't want to see you out of pocket so if you feel that you can prove the income you declared then we will refund the reference fee.
Failing that as a matter of good will I can provide you a free set of references on a different property in you price range.
