they dealt with my property for about 5 years, the problems ranged from lack of communication, rent not being paid, unreasonable demands and allowing tenants to verbally abuse my family members who had nothing to do with the residence.
The first tenant was fine no demand and no problems, paid first 6 months up font, and continued to pay with very few issues,
I'm sure there was another tenant for a year without any problems but cant remember.
Third tenant however was a real nightmare, very few payments on time, no communication from castle when there were delays. they let the flat fall in to a condition which castle did nothing about or never informed me, they then charged me £1300 for a repair that i have now discovered didn't need doing and also never used the trades man who provided the quote. this meant i had to surrender rent for the next few months to pay for repair. I ended up letting tenant leave early to save me any more money yet they had demands up till the last week of staying there.
as that tenant moved out and i had to carry out repairs castle had arranged for the flat to be let out again within the next 2 weeks , a time scale not achievable due to the amount of work needing carried out. i got hold of a copy of the tenants agreement which stated the tenant must do everything within their power to prevent damp, meaning opening windows and providing heat to the flat, something i later discovered wasn't happening.
Tenant number 4 had a few demands prior to moving in, none of which i found unreasonable. The only problem was rent, as he was paying with housing benefit, Castle couldn't seem to find out when or how regularly it was meant to be paid. the bed was then stolen. but other than that the tenant had no demands.
Tenant 4 sounded quite good until his parents became involved and things changed, they required more plug sockets fitted yet hadn't been a problem for any one else, a new shower! mold dealt with that was only present round one window and could be removed with a cloth and bleach. this was the couple who then verbally abused my sister who was over visiting a neighbor .castle were very unhelpful and unresponsive to emails texts phone calls and any other for of communication.
As far as i knew there business revolved around their tenants but upon talking to them they were treated the same way as the landlords, they were happy taking tenants money yet held on to it for as long as possible.

kept me in the loop, managed my property rather than provide a tenant and then forget about it,
tenants agreement stated that quarterly visits would be carried out, as far as i know they only visited one a tenant moved out, they charged ridiculous cleaning fees for the flat, yet when i checked nothing had been done. i told them not to let their trades men in again, they did thet them in and the trades men left a nasty hole in the ceiling that a five year old could have patched better.
they dont listen to the land lords at all.
if i can help and stop just 1 person using this bunch of con men i feel i have done my part for land lords and tenants everywhere
