I found the original contact with Elliott to be very good. It all became very frustrating when the Solicitors recommended by Up Estates got involved. This coupled with the owners of the property being less than helpful and not keeping promises such as moving into rented property. We agreed a purchase in July and eventually moved on 19th November. We have moved thirteen times in the past and this was by far the worse experience we have had.
If we hadn't like the house so much I would have walked away from it.
I was also disappointed by the fact that Up Estates were less than efficient in telling me when things happened. I would not use them to sell a property

Many thanks for your comments and of course we take on board and carefully consider all feedback.
In this example the post sale process may have felt longer than expected due to the delayed decision by the vendor, which as mentioned by you did change after the sale was agreed, however the entire process took 4 months which is not an unusually long period of time.
We of course endeavoured throughout the process to ensure that the vendor would vacate their property in order to accommodate as swift of a completion date as possible for you, which is what took place in the end based on our efforts and communications with all parties and their solicitors.
