We used this agent as she happened to live in the same estate as us and felt she had good knowledge of the houses.
Firstly, she stated a price which we disagreed with but she bulldozed us into agreeing with her.
Then when their valuation person came around he stated the same amount she said. We did our own research and found that our house was actually worth ‚£20k more. After a phone call to the surveyors they actually agreed with us and finally we got her to list OUR property at the price we thought in the first place.
She took all the photos which were very poor and after 3 dismal attempts we took our own. She wrote the description which was simply a few sentences of blurb taken from the original sales brochure which was over 10 years old - ie it referred to the estate as having won some awards. It didn't even state how many bedrooms there were and missed out important things like how many bathrooms and en-suites there were. We ended up writing our own description.
She also refused to do a floorplan and referred us to a partner company who would do us one for ‚£120!! No thanks - with a graphic designer in the household we did our own. There were many things that were really stressful for us both but her attitude and lack of attention to detail was appalling.

Every conversation ended up in a battle and considering we paid ‚£3,000 for the privilege of her producing a 1 page schedule that was very amateurish we felt very let down by this woman with her unprofessional manner and tyrannical personality. We found out recently that neighbours of ours had a similar experience with her.
Note to the manager - you need to review your staff as we are not the only people who feel like that.
What agent could do to change your mind?
In spite of us voicing concerns to her manager whose response was "she has 15 years experience" - her unprofessional and overbearing manner continued. Disappointed now in the company in its entirety.

What agent could do to change your mind?
