I found Martin and his team to be as eager and proactive throughout the sale as they were at introduction. Having previously dealt with other estate agents in other capacities they tend to be very good with the sales pitch then let you down with poor or mediocre service in contract...no so here,
I found each member that I dealt with kept me appraised of progress, were always professional and courteous in their communications and followed through on any commitments.
Even over the Christmas Break the team were obtaining and executing viewings to get the house sold even taking the time to make a call to say that even though the first buyers mortgage application had fallen through they would be working hard over christmas to get another sale. They lived up to that commitment.
On the second attempt after the buyer pulling out the house was only on the market about 2 weeks before another buyer was found and exchange of contracts was achieved in about 6-7 weeks thereafter.
They also have good contacts for trusted conveyancers as well to expedite the process.
A recomendation to has already been given to a colleague considering selling their house.
Comment on agent fees
Whilst the fee charged is less than the larger players, it was still a substantial sum and took a substnantial chunk of the money from the sale.
Considering the fee is 2.5 times the upfront fee, there seems much disparity between the two. A cost to sell a house is the same whether upfront or on completion.
