After having two other big name Estate Agencies come and propose to sell our house, we ended up choosing Mosley Jarman. Though this was a risk in our eyes as they had only just set up in Wilmslow, their track record in Bramhall was excellent and after meeting Nick who passionately presented the company ethos and how they would very much actively work for us, we felt that this was the right decision (something one of the other agencies just couldn't understand, and opted to then try and put them down and point out the mistake we were making, very unprofessional!). The presentation pack they created really made out house look great and the house was sold within 3 days of it going to market. We actually had three offers during the first set of viewings, of which Mosley Jarman helped us decide which was the right offer for us and how to respond. In addition, they even assisted us in our search for a new house, offering advice and information on various aspects. There is a clear personal touch to Mosley Jarman and at the front of house they have Jeanette who was brilliant in dealing with what turned out to be a long drawn out process for our onward purchase. They kept us and our buyers in the loop at every stage and did lots of work behind the scene to try to push things forwards whenever possible and ensure everyone was happy (or as happy as could be). No regrets choosing Mosley Jarman, very professional with a real personal touch which makes a bit difference! Thank you!
Comment on agent fees
Perhaps look at a tiered system for fees? If it sells at the asking price then expect a certain fee, but if its below then maybe look to discount? Just a suggestion that might appeal to people.
