Never able to get hold of someone. Awful quotes repairs. High management fees. Really poor website. Overall a terrible factor. We've been trying to our factor years now but it's impossible when you need 75% approval from neighbours when 10% are ran by Mears group asylum seekers.

Completely useless. They refuse to update you on any ongoing jobs even if the issue is directly affecting your flat. They don't reply to emails fullstop which makes it impossible to contact when you live abroad. Cannot dictate contracts properly between themselves and decorators which caused a job to be dropped mid contract and never picked back up again 1.5 years later. Don't actually know what they do with their day but I'd imagine just twiddle their thumbs next to a computer that is off at the wall. Fucking useless just avoid.

These guys are useless, they claim they have contracted work only for it either to not have been done or done to a substandard level The rates that they charge are frightening. Honestly, I am stunned they are not vetted or part of any governance.
The level of service they provide is inconsistent delivered with no empathy and at disgusting levies

Walker Sandford Property management ltd manage our building in Glasgow and i honestly believe they are the worst factors ever. I dont even know where to start here! I would dearly love to hear from anyone else that has had a terrible experience from these guys.

Average, although they can send out 3 reminder letters in one month with a £15 charge. They say it is automatically issued. THEY KNOW HOW TO MILK IT!!

In early 2017 I received demands for payment for bills and accounts I was not aware of.
Despite having my email address and other contact details and having returned paperwork in 2015 I received threatening letters in 2017 about unpaid bills about a property I own. I was told the correspondence had been sent to the property (they were aware it was tenanted and told me I should contact the tenant and they had various contact details for me).
When I asked for copies of the bills I was told they would only send them to me if I paid for them!!
Going back to when i actually bought the property I called in advance to let them know I was taking it over so issues like this would not arise and was told on more than one occasion I would get a call back and also on two occasions I was told I would receive a letter.
Eventually I received a Welcome Pack several months after buying the property which i returned to their offices in Glasgow. That was the last I heard until I received threatening demands.
After copious amounts of correspondence they eventually sent me previous invoices which i agreed to pay and re-sent them my direct debit for monthly payments by email on 4 April 2017.
They then sent me another letter about 2 weeks later threatening further action until I pointed out I had returned the paperwork and sent them copy email. However, they saw fit to charge another ridiculous fee for this threatening letter despite being in receipt of the paperwork needed to collect my monthly fees.
They continue to charge me late payment fees despite me agreeing to pay the bills as soon as i knew what they were actually for and upon receipt of their invoices.
I have asked for their complaints procedure both by email and via their web site but still nothing!
If you can avoid dealing with this business, then i would advise you to do just that.
At the time of writing I await further responses to the issues I have raised but will not hold my breath.

I was a prospective purchaser of a Flat managed by them.
There was no information relating to their factoring or management charges for the property so I contacted them primarily by telephone followed by e mail to their customer services department attempting to obtain either accurate or ball park figures.
They point blank refused to provide them hiding behind the excuse ' if we provide this information and the sale falls through we could be sued'.
In subsequent correspondence I asked the question - sued for what, providing truthful accurate information.
The reply I received was bland not answering any of my questions posed.
Bottom line when purchasing property you require to know annual outlays for budgeting purposes. This firm expect you to purchase then open Pandora's box to their charges.
In response to my queries they might have just said 'go away, its my ball'.
It would have saved a lot of time.
Why hide your charges, are they too expensive.
Atrocious service from them and I have 31 years in a legal and legislative capacity with 8 in liaison and customer services.

As some constructive criticism to WS: you should COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR CLIENTS more. The number of times work was done without me or other tenants being informed were too many.

This company acted as Factors at my property for years and were extremely poor. Eventually they carried out unnecessary and unauthorised work and when I disputed their Invoice, rather than correspond with me they simply sent me a steady stream of threatening demand letters for ever increasing sums. When they eventually sued me in the Sherrif Court they not only lost the case but my substantial Counter Claim against them was granted in full, which they then refused to pay. They are not members of the trade body Property Managers Association Scotland Ltd and their punitive method of applying penalty charges and interest has been highlighted by both the BBC and the Evening Times
