My opinion of Roger Platt, Maidenhead lettings. Whilst the Letting of my property went smoothly, there have been 'a catalogue of errors' and persons/departments blaming each other. New tenants moved in on 06/08/2014. Roger Platt had all the monies. Apparently, the monies due to me (less their fees) should have been paid to me before the new tenants moved in? they tell me 'no' it is once the keys are handed over!. They advised me the monies was with their accounts team for payment to me via BACS leaving them on the 8th.... no, still on the 13th no funds have reached my account. also, they calculated the account wrong and stopped 2 months letting fees, of which they have refunded one month...surprisingly enough, that money reached my account today 13th, but the large amount has still not reached my account. When chasing it with their accounts sector, they say ti will arrive in my account on Friday 15th (over one week after the new tenants have moved in). Am I happy... NO... I am NOT. Would I now recommend them to anyone... NO I would not!!! I am sincerely hoping, so I am told, the tenants have set up a standing order for all future payments on o6th each month... I just wonder what will happen with future payments???
A very, very, now upset, frustrated and very disillusioned new client of Roger Platt... what the future holds, who knows.
What agent could do to change your mind?
Ensured that monies were paid to me on time and correctly

Comment on agent fees
Given the 'catalogue of errors' as described above, I think that they should compensate me for this problem that was their fault and nothing to do with me? At the moment I have a 'lack of trust' in hoping that they can fulfil their obligations for the future months and the full term of the tenancy correctly?
