I have found this agency’s handling of tenant concerns and maintenance requests deeply disappointing. There seems to be little accountability or follow-through, with responsibility often shifted back onto tenants instead of being properly managed. Communication is poor, and the overall experience has been frustrating and unprofessional. Would not recommend based on my experience.

The experience at the beginning of the tenancy was fairly positive. However, once I raised concerns about the neighbours (also a LetCo property) this was not take seriously. I sent videos of the noise/ damages but I didn’t feel it was taken seriously. I spent 5 months living next to a bunch of kids who were loud and disrespectful. Using a large bully dog to threaten me was the last resort! I decided to leave at the end of my tenancy. Despite having excellent reports at regular check ins LetCo announced after 1 month of vacating the property I wouldn’t be getting my deposit back. I disputed this via the DPS as I had kept the flat In Excellent condition. I was concerned that things had been raised in the check out inventory that were present in the check in inventory but I was being blamed. There were clear inaccuracies and a number of very minor scuffs/marks which could be explained by wear and tear. A few hours work, drawing together evidence and I felt I had a strong case which was put forward to the DPS. Now, 4 months later I have had my deposit returned (finally). I feel irritated I had to go through the whole process but would recommend anyone in a similar position to persist with the DPS. I feel I was listened too and treated fairly which is more than I can say for LetCo.

These people are incompetent crooks. Avoid!
I viewed a property listed by LetCo and asked to be considered by the landlord. I was told by Megan at the viewing I would need to pay a holding deposit equal to 1 weeks rent and this was strictly on a first come first served basis.

Denis in the office was very happy and quick to take the payment over the phone, set a move in date and stated I would receive all the forms via docusign by email.

A few hours later I receive an email from Denis stating that the landlord had decided to proceed with another tenant despite being told by both Megan and Denis they operated on a first come first served basis. Typically a refund is going to take 5 working days.

When questioned on the phone their story changed numerous times with blatant lies and no regard for their potential customers.

These people are playing with peoples lives in an incredibly competitive rental market and should be ashamed of themselves knowing that people will likely miss out on several other properties based on the lies they tell.

Do not trust Letco. Terrible service.

We took on renting a property with Letco in Whiteley at the start of 2018 and have just moved out of it. We paid the deposit and the first upfront rent, and couldn't really fault the service. I went around the property as soon as we moved in, with a camera, photographing everything that was not quite right or indeed damaged, but not in the initial inventory. I then sent the pictures to the property management at Letco via email.

So when it came to moving out, naturally the inspection picked up some of these defects again as they had never been put right in the 2.5 years we were in the property. They said it had to be deep cleaned with a company they use, which under the current circumstances I understand and accept, and we agreed that the cleaning fee of £220 would come out of our deposit, when it is released.

Now they tell me that the landlady wants to claim the cost of rectifying three pieces of damage that were included in in the initial report by me; ie - in the property when we arrived, and notified to Letco at the time. When I challenged this and explained that they had an original email with the damage in it; all of a sudden they cannot locate this email from me. I have now told them that I will seek legal advice about this matter as they are charging us for damage done by a previous tenant and still claim that I am effectively lying about my initial report to them.

Good professional service - very impressed. Having just began my tenancy, I am able to leave this honest 5 star review. At every stage of the letting, LetCo were responsive, helpful and welcoming. I received fast replies and had any issues resolved and any questions answered. I would like to personally commend Adam Pullinger, the agent we dealt with. Adam made everything very easy and stress free, he also went out of his way on separate occasions to help us with the moving in process. As I mentioned previously, we have only just begun our tenancy and so I will update this review in 12 months time, but as of now, LetCo and the service they offer have been amazing. Well done.
