What agent could do to change your mind?
Perry Bishop do not advise you how closely you should be looking at the property when you move in. They will zoom in on the corner and photograph any odd hairs or specks of dust when tenants move out. Perry Bishop should either take more normal general photos upon tenants moving out or scrutinise the property to that harsher degree upon people moving in. That's only fair right!

What agent could do to change your mind?
Lack of communication, even in the six weeks I was waiting for the ceiling to be fixed it was us chasing leaders to chase it up. Also they just say anything to you like "it will be fixed on Monday" which I heard several times during our wait! And they lie themselves out of everything!

What agent could do to change your mind?
I am not sure that there is a way to improve the behaviour of staff at Leaders towards Tenants as customers as it clearly contrary to its business model. I would however caution its staff, if they ever want to work in a more sophisticated industry like retail (unless its a pawn shop), banking (unless its the debt collection department) or any other type of business with customers (unless they are kept away from them) they will need modify their attitudes and behaviour quite significantly.

What agent could do to change your mind?
If you are going to charge fees particularly at the beginning of the contract, the service received whilst signing the lease should be excellent or at least good.

Although I disagree with paying fees to estate agents I feel the fee at the beginning of the tenancy was relative reasonable compared to the prices charged by other estate agents in the area. I do feel that for the money paid we should have got a better service, see the first couple of complaints above regarding signing of the lease and moving in. However I think it is daylight robbery for the estate agent to charge ‚£60 to move out on the date which we had original signed and agreed to leave the property. If we had changed the date or rolled over the contract then I understand a charge may be associated to that. But the fact we moved out when we had agreed to at the beginning of the lease, returned every form and keys etc that was necessary, I think that charge is outrageous.
