Waited weeks for my deposit refund despite both myself and my landlord chasing for full payment. Didnt call back when left messages; when I did manage to speak to them all I got was excuses. Glad that my landlord managed the property direct throughout my tenancy and not through the agent. Generally poor customer service for something that should have been an easy quick transfer. They seem to forget the tenancy deposit is the property of the tenant, not the agents money, thats why it's protected ...

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
