very poor and infrequent maintainance of estate . Have been given late payment charges after waiting for them to respond to my query regarding there increased charges for management fees. Very unwilling to resolve my complaints. Was told the garden maintainance is carried out every 2 weeks in summer and monthly in winter . This is far from the case no evidence of work at all in winter months but still charged.

Grant and Wilson have been the factors of our building for 4 years.
The service they provide is appalling and the contractors they get to carry out any work are completely incompetent.
They charge an expensive fee and do nothing to earn it. Avoid.
Their communication skills are extremely lacking for example; if you have a problem and are waiting to hear back from Grant and Wilson, they (particularly Graeme Stuart) will email you last thing (literally 2 minutes) before the end of that working to inform you of some kind of excuse as to why they can't do whatever it is they are supposed to be doing.
In addition to this, it is often in conjunction with announcing that they will be uncontactable because of annual leave/holidays etc for the next week or so. Possibly in the hope that by the time they return we will have forgotten about their abismal service.
Avoid this company and anyone associated with them.

Grant and Wilson put the 'shambles' in omnishambles. Communication is poor - anger-inducingly poor. They make mistakes then they say you are at fault. They lack common courtesy and have no concept of customer service. Avoid, avoid, avoid. Deal with G&W at your peril.

I moved to my current property in February 2014. Grant and Wilson manage the building. So far they have been totally useless. They do not return phonecalls . They do reply to emails but the issues are still not resolved. They tell you what you want to hear and then do nothing. I have been waiting 2 months for a window repair. So far, 2 companies have come out to quote the job and this only happened after several phonecalls. I am still waiting on the 2 other companies that I have been told are coming to quote the job. They also tried to bill me for work carried out before I even moved into the property. They lie about sending letters regarding repairs, quotes etc. It's strange that it is only ever their mail that I don't receive. They are useless, incompetent crooks. I don't know how they are still in business. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

I have had this misfortune of dealing with Grant and Wilson since I bought my property in 1998, I use the term dealing with very loosely as they are so difficult to contact! They were the appointed property managers of the building comprising of 6 apartments and over the years they have let standard in the communal areas go and what was once a stunning entrance is now a disgrace. Any issues I have had they have been slow to return my calls and totally useless in dealing with even the most simplest of problems. I have had to live with the fact that they don't actually manage our building in any way other than by name. In the years I have been there I have obviously dealt with many members of staff and all are equally useless and unhelpful. I have even had to forward correctly worded emails to them as they have been unable to pass on literate and concice emails to contractors. I am now currently trying to sell my property and will be over the moon to no longer have any dealings with this company however they are now being so slow in providing information for the sale that It's looking as though the sale may not go through.

Great job Grant and Wilson! I would avoid at all costs buying or renting a property that they have on their books unless you fancy banging your head against a brick wall.
