The mailbox need to be changed too and curtains are dirty and broken. *promised to take care of everything and they didn' t. No one answer to e mail and no one answer to out telephone call. Finally we succeeded to get in touch with *, the agent who signed our contract on behalf of the owner and he said that he dorsn' t work anymore for the agency so it is not his business anymore...we went to the office and the office is closed!!!

They have ignored the fact that the tenant has paid them 3 months rent and instead of paying me as per the contract, have used it for their own ends.

They don't directly charge us fees as the subsequently sublet the apartment.

They are currently advertising on Zoopla with different address/phone number. Avoid these fraudsters.

We have used this firm since May 2017, since the beginning of the relationship until now, they have been consistent in one thing - paying rent late. Since the beginning until now they have been late for a total of 624 days and an average of 31.5 days.
The offering was guaranteed rental income with Belmonts as the tenant, when problems arose initially due to lateness of rent, they said the guarantee only applies in the sense that I will eventually get the money. There is no guarantee that I will get the money on time.
I admit that I am partially at fault for letting it go on for so long, but now things have reached a point where they owe 3 months rent and refuse to respond to any email correspondence. Calls to their office go unanswered, when they are answered the management team are unavailable and calls go un returned.
Avoid this company at all costs.

They even don't bother to answer
them I have been notified today

Otherwise they will be reported

First time choosing Belmonts and I had very positive experience :) Our agent was super helpful and friendly, and it didn't feel like he was trying to force us to rent anything that wasn't right for us. Please do not use this fraudulent letting agents, you will be scammed out of money. We scammed into transferring thousands of pounds for a property (offer) that had already had a rental agreed through another well known estate agency a month before. We have since reported them because they stolen our money. There is also strong evidence to suggests that these people were previously trading under Crestons (company name Sirs London Ltd and also based previously at 46 Brick Lane). These people started a new company in May 2016 (trading as Belmont) and continue to do exactly what they had done previously, scam landlords and tenants. If you were previously scammed by Crestons, there is evidence to suggest that they are now called Belmont Estate Agents and Surveyors.
