I have bought and sold with Arden before. Superb service, selling with them again. Really responsive and helpful. The actually answer the phone, they are professional and pleasant. I cannot fault Arden. My go to.

Do yourself a favour choose an estate agent who knows what they are doing and have some interest in actually professionally selling your home

Whilst they got our house on the market quickly and sold it promptly they lost interest as soon as our buyers became difficult to handle. They didn’t pass information on to us and generally felt as if they had given up on the sale and we needed to push for exchange.

Renting through them, takes 2 months to get the problem sorted, after chasing them with 20 emails reminding about issues. Poorest communication ever had

I live next door to tenants of Arden who fight argue and party hard. I am an ill woman who doesn't need tenants like this neighbouring my property. I have complained numerous times to constantly be lied to by Arden staff. Told tenancy wouldn't be renewed but they renewed it told someone will ring me back several times but nothing. No care as long as they're getting commission they don't give a damn. I can't move they can so want their scummy tenants gone asap. Given a wrong head office number to won't give me number to take it higher than their office in the high street complete shambles of a company very bad.

When deciding to go with Arden to sell our house all seemed fine and we were happy with how the first meeting went.
After not recieving any viewings for a few weeks we called the agent to ask what was going on.
We were then advised to change all the decor as apparently this was the reason people were put off - bearing in mind all the colours in the house were browns and greys.. Neutral colours.
Changed all back to white walls.
When we finally had some veiwings we were then asked to carry them out ourselves, as agents were not avaliable.
We had a knock on the door one evening from someone interested in buying our house.. who had been told by our agent that we were not taking offers or any viewings.
The agents seemed more interested in getting viewings carried out for the other house on the street.
Very rare feedback. Only got feedback when we rang and asked the agents ourselves..
Rightmove feedback made no sense.
Sending me an email of a property i may be interested in - this ended up being my own property... the property those agents were selling for me.
Asking me if i would like to view a house that had no garage or parking.. the main things we asked for/ needed in a house.
Overall very poor experience made a lot more stressful than it had to be due to these points.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed).
