I have always had the opinion that estate agents are overpaid for doing very little and have begrudgingly paid out in the past. On this occasion I can honestly say they deserved every penny !

We chose to sell our house through Sterling Berkhamsted and were fortunate enough to have both Meka and Andy deal with this matter for us.
The house sold very quickly but there transpired to be a problem a buyer at the bottom of the chain and the sale subsequently collapsed.
This is where Meka and Andys expertise shone through.
They pulled out all the stops to ensure that a new buyer was found to replace this almost straight away.
Both agents put everything they had into ensuring that this went through as quickly as possible. There were many complications popped up throughout and each were dealt with very professionally and speedily as possible.
I can say hand on heart that I believe had we gone through another agency we would not have completed in a very tight deadline that we were bound by.
I normally would not be inclined to complete any reviews however, I have made this an exception due to the courteous professionalism both Andy and Meka provided throughout this complicated sale/chain.

Meka, Andy and the whole team at Sterling were brilliant from start to finish with our sale and purchase (both through Sterling). They were really helpful, responsive and friendly! Andy has been supporting me with a Sale and Purchase over the past 5 months, my situation was rather complex as shared ownership was involved but throughout the process he has been professional and consultative. I would have no hesitation in recommending Sterling to anyone. Unfortunately at the last hurdle my buyers buyer pulled out so I have had to put the process on hold, but I will 100% be using Sterling next time round. All staff members I have dealt with in Andy's absence have also been helpful.

Ben keeps an eye on his team, responds when necessary, and is very skilled when it comes to negotiations.

I was always informed of when a viewing was going to take place by text message and email which I found very helpful .
The staff we're friendly and efficient. Sophie Galsworthy and Andrew Melrose we're very helpful throughout the whole process, they were the people who kept me informed with the viewers feedback and the properties placement throughout the time it was marketed.
I would certainly recommend using Sterling and must thank Sophie, Andrew and the Sterling team for their professionalism throughout the short time it was vacant.
