I just wanted to write in to say how lovely it was to meet with Brian. I had arranged a viewing for an apartment and was greeted by Holroyd Miller’s Brian. He was welcoming, respectful and I felt like we had a good conversation in regards to what I was looking and hoping for in the property. He made my family and I feel at ease and was especially accommodating and supportive throughout our viewing. He is most certainly a positive attribute to Holroyd Miller and I feel he must be recognised as such. Thank you to Brian for making the viewing a happy one. Brian’s the best!

Following a bereavement, I had to sell the 3 bed family home and downsize to a one bed flat nearby. The search took time and was unsatisfactory. Then a flat came on the market which looked promising. I arranged to view it on the same day that I was due to view another flat, which turned out to be badly designed and unsuitable. So I turned up for the second flat with not much enthusiasm. The agent who showed me round was polite and helpful, giving me useful practical information as well as some historical background, as the flat is in a conservation area. I applied to become a tenant and met the rest of the Holroyd Miller staff in the Wakefield office. Everyone there was unfailingly helpful and courteous. There were the inevitable teething problems, all of which were handled with efficiency, speed and good humour. I began to trust the staff and to recognise that we are on the same wavelength. They treated me as an individual looking for a home, not 'just another customer'. Their standards are very high and the care they take is exemplary. The tenancy is for an initial 6 month period, but I am hoping that it might turn out to be a permanent home for me here.
