As the owner of only one property, a commercial unit purchased with my pension fund lump sum in 2015, my experience as landlord is very limited. I certainly need and indeed rely entirely on the management company for every aspect of letting and managing my property.
It wasn’t until 2022 that I began having some problems which recurred each time it was rectified and needed to report this on a number of occasions to the management company. Such recurrences were now running without being solved for more than one, two or three months which was not only inconvenient and exasperating but began to cause me financial costs as well.
After my reporting yet another recurrence without rectification after the second month I was contacted by Robyn Murphy who helped resolve this on a number of occasions
I’m unable to go into any detail of the problem as this would breach confidentiality.
It was at the beginning of December 2022 when the ongoing problem with my property recurred and I emailed my usual contact at UE, Robyn Murphy, only to receive her out of office reply saying she was on annual leave.
I then mailed the general team address asking for help. It was picked up by Ross Spencer, Joint CEO who replied to me saying he was asking Jessica Gaskell to help me out while Robyn was away. Ross also suggested a possible strategy to help with the eventual long term solution.
Jessica contacted me and took over from Robyn as if seamlessly. This during the extremely busy period leading up to Christmas and New Year.
This time the problem was particularly difficult to resolve taking considerable time, work and effort on Jessica’s behalf, all of which she kept me fully informed of with regular updates, even when progress was at an impasse.
The situation was reaching crisis point only a couple of days before the Christmas holiday began but Jessica didn’t let up and tried various strategies to get a resolution which eventually worked in the nick of time. Entirely due to Jessica’s efforts disaster was averted on this occasion.
My gratitude to Jessica for her continuing continuing help and professionalism.

I've lived in and rented different places during my time in liverpool and Franco is by far and away the friendliest, most positive and helpful person I've come across. One of the main reasons I enjoy living in Norfolk House 1 is because of the help and service Franco provides. He's always helped me out when needed and done it with a smile on his face. He's a really top person and I can't speak more highly of him. He's a genuine credit to your business. Also want to give credit to the rest of the concierge/security team as a whole too, they are great.
