I had a really good experience with buying my first house with Strike. They were really helpful, always replied to questions and explained anything I wasn’t sure about. They made the purchase process very easy, the agent Melanie Flack was really helpful, and she went above and beyond to help us and I really enjoied working with her during the sale process.
Nevertheless, I believe Strike did try to pull the ghost buyer trick on us, where bye they try to make you increase your offer price by saying there is a non-existent buyer interested in the property after you have made your offer and have sent all of your documentation. A warning to all of you never fall for this estate agent trick, whenever they say the owner is ready to take the property off the market and then they come back with there is another buyer who is making a higher offer just stay quiet, don’t make a higher offer it will save you thousands. After all they are here to sell the property for as much as possible and make their commission!
Also the home removal quote and home insurance quotes and any other service quote they provide are nowhere near competitive, you are able to find cheaper deals for home insurance, utilities and home removal quotes by doing some little of your own research online , it will save you hundreds!
Overall, I had a really positive experience and have really enjoyed dealing with them minus the ghost buyer trick and ridiculous quotes which have kept me from giving a 5 star rating!
