About Montana
Montana established Whitlocks Estate Agents in the summer of 1993 on Bognor High Street, after having worked for a large corporate company since 1987.
Montana is very memorable, not just for her name but for her kind-hearted and gentle nature, she is not what you consider as a typical person in business.
She
is an inspiring strong woman in business and even more so an admirable Estate Agent.
Montana has always been very generous and puts other\'s needs and feelings above her own.
Through hard work and determination, she has created a company that did not focus on targets, commission and money but instead, a reputation based on customer care, proactivity and honesty.
Her goal was to find other like-minded individuals who shared her ethos and desire to help others to continue what she started.
In three words, we would describe Montana as, inspirational, caring, and driven.
Her colleagues would describe her as knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and persuasive.
Over the years, Montana has shown the true essence of the word resilient and has led her team to overcome many difficult market places and always manages to come out on top.
Away from the Office, she loves spending time with her Grandson Jack and making him laugh as well as her daughter Natasha. She also enjoys gardening and growing vegetables, cooking and trying out new recipes as well as yoga and reading. Montana formally a Sports Captain, has always had a passion for sport and used to be a competing gymnast at county level as well as competing in Hockey and swimming.

For me, they dealt expertly with an unusual request to exchange contracts within 48 hours. This was completed with professionalism and expertise and I was very quickly delighted with my purchase.

Dear Montana,
I feel the time is long overdue for me to drop you a line and express my gratitude for all the help you and your team have given me over the last five years, when it fell to me to 'take charge' of my mother's affairs.
Two quite daunting tasks presented themselves at that difficult time. Sorting out dignified care for my mother's final years, and becoming a landlord overnight, organising the rental of her home to offset the incredibly high cost of her ongoing care.
The first task, my wife and I managed to muddle through!
We were lucky enough to get mum into a place where her final years were spent among friends and under the constant care of compassionate and dedicated professionals. It is a strange phrase to use, but it was a 'good end'.
The second task was a whole different kettle of fish.
As I have told you on several occasions, I must surely hold the title of 'The World's Most Reluctant Landlord'! I knew nothing about the legalities and obligations that came with the role, and literally didn't know where to start.
Then along came Whitlocks!
You were recommended to me by a friend who had used you for many years (always the best kind of recommendation in my book) and I came to see you with an open mind to seek professional advice, and you delivered.
The list is endless. Very competitive rates for a full management service, finding new tenants throughout the time the property was rented, ensuring the property was never empty for any length of time, collecting the rent, organising safety checks, recommending tradesmen to do the maintenance that was beyond my skills, regular property inspections, etc, etc, etc.
In doing so you have virtually taken on the role of landlord and spared me a huge amount of stress, as well as shielded me from falling foul of laws and legislation that I simply wasn't aware of.
Now, as we near the end of our relationship (yes, I'm relieved but a little sad!) you have excelled yourselves yet again.
Having offered us by far the best rate to market the property from the three local agents I contacted, you then managed to get us a buyer (the very best type, namely a first timer) at a price that was towards the top end of what we were expecting, within a week. Just incredible!
Finally, I must single out Natasha for a special mention for going 'above and beyond the call of duty' over the years. I do of course realise she is your daughter, and as such you could be forgiven for sometimes taking her for granted, but you need to be told.
She is an absolute credit to you and you should feel very proud of the young lady she had become. We have all had periods in our lives that we would prefer to sidestep if we could 'go around again', and I'm sure Natasha is the same. What really matters is where we are and who we are today.
Natasha is polite, knowledgeable, helpful and a wonderful ambassador for your company. With a family business there can often be unique issues and rivalries that other types of business are spared. Certainly in my experience you and Natasha have settled into a solid working relationship which is driving the business forward.
With Natasha on board, I think we will continue to see Whitlocks boards all over town for many years to come!
Once again Montana, thank you for your outstanding help and expertise over the years. I wish you, Natasha and the rest of the team every success in the future.

What can I say about Whitlocks?
Natasha, Montana and the whole team, sold both of our houses and did a great job.
My Bungalow, which was the second one, was particularly difficult, I think it must have been one of the worst they have had to deal with, what with withdrawals and vandalism.
Natasha was the chief negotiator throughout, and promised she would get us a good deal at the end of all this, when I was feeling so low, and she lived up to her promise. We couldn't have asked for more.

To Whom it may Concern
My name is Tony Casely. I am the Managing Director of Wilton Security Systems Ltd based in Surrey and I operate this award-winning company in both the UK and Europe. We have been established for over 25 years and we have a large blue-chip client base. I personally live in the Italy and rely on my staff and contractors in the UK for the essential day to day operation of the business. Of which I oversee.
I have been a client of Whitlock's Estate Agency for eight years. I initially employed the agency to manage my father property. My father suffers with dementia and now lives with me in Italy. He owns a property in Nyetimber West Sussex and it was very important that when he left the UK I found a company who could manage his property and maintain the needs of any proposed tenants.
I initially spoke with Natasha in 2010 who although she was young, she had a full understanding of my requirements and she appeared to have an established knowledge of the business of sales and rentals within the property market. Based on our initial meeting, I employed Whitlock's to find a suitable tenant with references and subsequently manage the monthly rental, annual contracts and of course the necessary maintenance of my father's asset.
I have heard that Natasha is nominated for a young achiever's award. I would therefore like to add my own testimonial in support of this deserved credit.
Natasha found a suitable tenant within a couple of weeks. The tenant was vetted and every aspect of the contract was communicated with me. Let me clear on communication. This was mainly done with email or telephone and all communication was answered immediately. There has never been a situation where I have had to wait for a reply. Like all properties there are problems and of course tenants can be demanding. I cannot hand on heart find any fault with the way my fathers property has been managed. All plumbing, electrical and building faults have been rectified without delay and without abnormal costs. The result of this, is that my father has a steady income from the property to help support his health requirements and we have happy tenants. Natasha's staff are a credit to her managerial abilities and serve her well. However, from the email updates I have received and the posts that have been placed on their website, Natasha seems intent on continually improving the business and staying one step ahead of the average agency and always places the client first.
I have visited her offices within the past few months. The shop front, internal office space are orderly, comfortable and welcoming. Her staff are friendly and helpful. Natasha is refreshed and enthusiastic and during my limited visit took the time to make herself available to talk. She has the obvious ability to control the business. I would have no hesitation in recommending Whitlock's as a property agent. Certainly, for her age and ability, Natasha deserves recognition and I wish her every success for the future. I would finally add that this statement has not been solicited in any way and is freely tendered.

I could not recommend Whitlocks Estate Agents enough, I have let a property through them for nearly three years now and have had nothing but positive experiences. From the original application process through to now Natasha and every team member of Whitlocks have gone out of their way to make sure we are happy with everything, remaining helpful, professional and empathetic throughout. If there has ever been an issue they have responded within hours if not immediately. As the letting agent they are required to come and do a check on the property every six months and they always make us feel really relaxed and use it as an opportunity to speak to us about any issues we may have as well as checking the property for the landlord. One day we hope to purchase our own property and Whitlocks will most certainly be our first contact for this.

Being a developer/ Landlord we have had the pleasure of dealing with Whitlocks estate agents for many years , I think in fact from the first opening of the Pagham office some 15 or so years ago . We where then a small startup dabbling in the property market not really knowing what we were doing but felt dealing with Montana was kind of reassuring, she and the Whitlock team gave us great professional service and lots of great advice on all matters property related . We are still doing business with Whitlocks but now under the leadership of the dynamic Natasha . Now Natasha is driving the business forward in to 2018 and beyond I feel sure that Whitlocks will go from strength to strength as she is very professional and heads the team with a determined and proactive approach.
I wish Natasha / Montana and the whole Whitlocks team all the best for the future . And I hope I can do business with them for many years to come ..

I have known Natasha since she left school and worked for my Wife Stacey at Fitness First gym. She was always polite very hard working and quietly ambitious. Since Natasha has worked at her family company she has learned very quickly from her vastly experienced mother Montana and continued to thrive and has now become a very capable business woman but still managed to keep her likability and fun. I honestly dont know another person as young as Natasha who has achieved so much at such a young age. On a personal level i always find it a pleasure to deal with Natasha and i know i can trust her implicitly to get the job done and get it done right. Whitlocks reputation continues to grow and grow and i think Natasha is a massive part of that. I'm sure she will continue to go from strength to strength. Truly a massive achiever.
