Louise was brought into Country Holmes in 2014 to help drive the business forward and support the opening of our new Glossop Branch. Working in the property industry since 2000 to include financial services and managing offices within the larger corporate Estate Agencies, Louise brought a wealth of experience and
knowledge in valuing, marketing, and sales progression. Living locally and being extremely customer focused Louise now manages the Sales Team at our Marple Bridge office.

Country Holmes helped me with the sale and purchase of a new home 3 years ago. This was the first time I had moved in 20 years and they were particularly helpful in supporting me through the whole process. Louise was great - she understood the type of property and location I was looking for and steered me in the right direction. When the ideal house came to market she made sure I was the first to view and worked with me to secure the deal. I would definitely recommend this branch of Country Holmes to anyone looking to move and would use them again myself if I ever decide to move again.

My wife and I really enjoyed dealing with the team at Country Holmes in Marple Bridge. Suzanne and Moira did the viewings and were extremely courteous and helpful. Louise then took over during the purchase and was enormously supportive and constructive during negotiations. We were always kept informed and Louise even called during her day off to keep us abreast of developments. Even when things got difficult with solicitors, Louise kept things moving and was extremely diligent in managing all links in the chain. Since the completion of our purchase, we have seen Moira in the area who stopped her car for a chat and this is the kind of friendly, personal service we have come to know from the team at Country Holmes. I was delighted, the property went through the whole process from start to finish within six weeks and Louise managed the process every step of the way.

Her strategy with regard to the asking price was sound and her handling of and negotiation with potential buyers was done with a professional rationale which secured an over-sale price within a fortnight.
Suzanne also proved herself to be an asset to the agency with her handing of the viewings and made me realise how advantageous it is for the homeowner not to conduct the viewings. Suzanne highlighted all the positive aspects of my home but also enabled potential purchasers to visualise the options available with the space on offer. She spent time with me after each viewing to discuss how she felt it went and came back with feedback promptly after each viewing.
At the outset I had already secured a private buyer and was loathed to pay estate agent fees. I can however say wholeheartedly that utilising the services of Country Holmes maximised the amount my house sold for and I have/will certainly recommend them to friends and acquaintances.

We invited several agents to give us an appraisal of our property, having met Louise I felt confident that Country Holmes was the agent for us. Louise was very professional and has a lovely manner.
COuntry Holmes did all our viewings and after about 6 they secured a cash buyer offer very close to asking price which we accepted. The property that we put ours on the market for was on with 2 agents and unfortunately it had already had an offer . However, we agreed that we would move very quickly and the vendor said as long as we could complete within 3 weeks he would sell to us. This was an incredible ask as we were due to spend the 3rd week on holiday in India. Louise , along with Blackstone solicitors , and a team of surveyors managed to pull off this amazing achievement. We moved bang on date as we said we would exactly 3 weeks after receiving the offer on our house. I'll never forget Lousie going well beyond the call of duty, having conversations with us in India and at 40,000 feet in the air! even texting in the middle of the night when we couldn't sleep with the stress!!! A massive well done to Louise and Country Holmes for working so hard to make it happen. Louise is an excellent negotiator

Thanks for giving me the opportunity to review.
We purchased our house finally back in March this year after what can only be described as a lengthy negotiation.
The vendor was a challenging customer to say the least, Louise will know this well. From a buyers perspective to have someone who rings you back when they say they will, discusses all of the dynamics of the situation (there were many) and offers helpful advice in a very challenging time is refreshing.
I'd recommend anyone to work with Louise, she called me even when she wasn't working, at weekends and even in the evenings when the deadline was getting tight.
My experience is that purchasing a house is a stressful transaction for anyone, but made easier by people who deliver against a promise, are open to discussion and ideas but more importantly just care about getting you the house you want.

I have used CH as a letting agent.
I have them to be extremely competitive in terms of the cost of their services but, above all for me, it's their reliability and good judgement that elevates them above all other agencies I've dealt with locally.
When they promise a call, they make a call. When they say I'll get back to you, they do. They respond to emails quickly and efficiently but also comprehensively.
I can highly recommend them.

The photos she took showed our house in the best possible light - they were amazing!! We would highly recommend Louise and her team.
The whole conveyancing process took 8 weeks to the day from the start to the finish. Happy Days.

It has been an absolute pleasure in dealing with Country Holmes who have recently sold our property. Ours was not the easiest of sales, and extremely stressful - we were involved in a fairly large chain, where on numerous occasions the chain collapsed and we had to start all over again. The process was long, stressful and very frustrating all along with delay after delay. Louise Tattersall and Suzanne Hooley kept control of the situation throughout, were in constant touch with all the other estate agents in the chain, giving us reassurance and updating us at every twist and turn. Their professionalism, dedication, care and ability to stay calm in getting the job done and getting us the end result was amazing and I would have no doubt in recommending this thoroughly brilliant team.
