They were worth the efforts put in to the sale over the course of a year. This opinion is driven by the team at Simon Miller and the way they approached the sale. We are not sure we would be comfortable paying more than 1% on another transaction or a sum of £5,000 if the property price was higher.

We requested the services of Richard and his team to help us sell our house, and from the moment we did, we knew we had made the right choice.
The team at Simon Miller in Bearsted seem to be a cut above their competition in every way possible. They are extremely good at what they do, are receptive to everything you have to say, and will only suggest viewings from genuine potential buyers. The team make sure that people who want to view the property understand it's size, along with the positive, and not so positive aspects of it, so that no unnecessary time is wasted.
Lucy played a very active role throughout the duration of our property being marketed and we were so impressed with her efforts. Lucy listened to all of our concerns, nothing was too much trouble for her, and it became clear very quickly that we could just sit back and leave her to do what she is extremely good at. Lucy is very good at generating good quality leads, and in the end, went and found our buyer for us. We were able to trust Lucy very early on into the process and this took a huge weight off our minds.
Will we ever consider using an alternative estate agent in the future? Most definitely not! We have received a 5 star service from start to finish and it was certainly worth the fee.

However, we retained our buyers, who were introduced by Simon Miller, and successfully purchased the property we'd chosen in May 2017.
Richard Long was very professional in managing our expectations with regard to a realistic selling price. The staff in general were all very helpful, but Lucy White was brilliant in making us feel confident that all would be well. She regularly kept us informed of any progress, and always returned phone calls promptly, and actually recognised our voices so knew our case without our having to explain the details every time we called. She was very professional and positive when conducting viewings, and we had no negative feedback from prospective buyers, only that the house didn't quite meet their particular needs. We are thrilled that Simon Miller introduced us to a lovely young family with two daughters under 5 years old, who have "stuck with us" since their offer in October 2017. They will replicate our family unit when we moved here, except our daughters were 7 and 5 years old. They absolutely love our property as much as we do, and can't wait to move in. We now look forward to the next chapter of our lives, knowing our home is in good hands.

no nonsense approach to selling our property. Richard showed an enthusiasm and a wish to sell our property on our behalf, with support from his team and a modern 21 century approach. This as it turned out was the best decision we made. Throughout what turned out to be a nightmare for us Lucy was there always at the end of the phone for advice and reassurance. Lucy's customer care is exemplary she always delivers, if she says she is going to do something she does it, always returns calls and her professionalism in dealing with solicitors and finance companies is amazing. I'm sure there were times when Lucy must have been sick of hearing from us, if there were she never showed it and always remained the ultimate professional. Lucky is a credit to Simon Miller and they are very privileged to have her as an employee. So finally estate agents have a poor reputation and are the butt of many jokes, but we have no problem in recommending the new kids on the block Simon Miller Bearsted and a big thank you to Lucy and Richard in sticking with us and selling our property!

Through all of this process the staff at Simon Miller Bearsted did their absolute best to keep the process on track.
Lucy in particular has been a model of excellence, chasing up solicitors and anyone else who needed it.
It would be a great improvement to the whole process if the legal profession could follow the lead of Simon Miller and get into the 21st century, the ones we had to deal with could certainly learn a lot from this estate agent

I bought my house through the Bearsted office of Simon Miller in 2015 and found all staff members to be so helpful, informative and available. I had a complex chain but, of all of the agents involved, this office were those that knew what was going on and did all they could to assist and progress the chain.
Due to a change in my circumstances i have since sold my property in the summer of 2017, and had no hesitation in asking Simon Miller, Bearsted, to help me.
Throughout the process I dealt with both Lucy and Richard frequently, both were so helpful. My property was marketed very rapidly with a large number of viewings arranged over the first weekend it was on the market.
Lucy spent pretty much that whole first Saturdayat my house showing prospective purchasers around, and as a result I had 5 offers over the course of the next few days.
They then helped to manage the process through to satisfactory completion.
I would not hesitate to recommend selling your house through Simon Miller Bearsted. Richard and Lucy have been fantastic and operate as you always hope a credible estate agent should - the difference being they actually do.
