I am the 3rd generation of estate agents within Harris Bell Associates which dates back to the 50’s when my Grandparents originally set up the business. As a family man with 3 grown up children, born and bred in Bridlington, I know the local area and people in it very well. A Fellow of The National Association o
f Estate Agents and Director of HBA, I deal with all aspects of residential, commercial and industrial sales, letting and property management on a daily basis.In my spare time I enjoy golf, walking, climbing, kayaking, sailing, shooting and all things pyrotechnical as well as watching sports. 3 words to describe myself – honest, friendly and hardworking!

Finding let alone buying a house at the moment in this market was not an easy task. John, Fiona & Vicki have been very professional as well as personal…my stresses were high as properties seemed to sell very quickly. The team are not only fantastic Agents, they provided excellent support ANYTIME I had queries, and houses are flying off the market so I needed advice and support every step of the way. Fiona & Vicki helped me obtain a wonderful little house, working hard to make sure things ran smoothly. John and the team are amazing and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a home in sunny Brid, you won’t regret it 10/10.

Having spent several weeks in Scarborough and Bridlington searching for a property to buy ( I am relocating from Cheshire) I have come to realise that Harris Shields in Scarborough are the best agents there - after the FANTASTIC service I have received from all their staff, most especially Ralph . They have been consistently professional, helpful, empathised completely with my situation , and been incredibly supportive and understanding, never pushy or remotely arrogant or salesman like - with a fantastic knowledge of the local area and willing to bend over backwards to help me find the right place . I have been treated with the utmost courtesy from beginning to end, felt valued and able to place my trust in them . I can also say that the same is true in their Bridlington branch - where Mr. John Harris showed me round a property and was absolutely outstanding , pointing out the building's bad and good points , clearly a highly trained, dedicated and most intelligent , true gentleman who could see everything from my point of view , but whose invaluable input helped me make incredibly important decisions . His honesty and integrity shone through , and I felt in very safe hands . What a stunning gentleman - and I can honestly say the same of all his other staff . I have been kept updated daily of all new properties coming on the market with them too . Their communication has been exemplary . As and when I come to sell , I shall have no hesitation whatsoever in choosing Harris Shields to sell my home . Probably the best agents I have ever come across - THANK YOU ALL so much :)) xx
