I shortlisted a selection of estate agents in Coventry to list my property. I was searching for an agent who took the time to listen to my needs, give a realistic valuation based on evidence and a marketing strategy that would ensure a sale and of course a fair fee. Throughout the selected estate agents, I was impressed by the Valuer - Aaron, representing Shortland Horne. He ticked all the boxes that I was looking for and gave me confidence to instruct them as my agent. The sales team generated multiple viewings with buyers in proceedable positions and conducted the viewings. The negotiations with my sale was handled well. My sale collapsed for reasons out of my control and Shortland Horne reactivated a sale with a new buyer very quickly.

The after sales is the most significant part in any property sale. The service here was incredible. I was dealing with Linda Collins. Linda is very approachable and carried the sale smoothly to completion (during this pandemic!). Linda was clear, concise and informative. She was sympathetic when I lost my initial sale and dealt with the re-negations on my second sale skilfully with a happy outcome. She dealt with all Solicitors involved, Financial Advisors and Surveyors to keep the sale together and gave me regular updates. Her 30+ years of experience and passion really shone through. Congratulations to Shortland Horne for having Linda as a valuable asset. Thank you to Laura Shortland, all the team at Shortland Horne and a BIG thank you to Linda for supporting me in achieving my property sale. I will be more than happy to use your services again. Had a fantastic experience purchasing our house, the experience and customer service that helped us every step of the way with the purchase! cant thank her and Laura enough for the help they gave us, in Lindas absence Laura gave us updates too, we had some problems with our solicitors but the advice we were given by Linda really helped us push this over the line in the timescale we needed!

We used Shortland Horne for the sale of our property and they also acted on our purchase. We originally considered using an online estate agent to reduce the fee's but our gut instinct was to go with Shortland Horne. What a choice it was! We had a torrid time over 8 months due to some issues with the property we were purchasing and as a result, lost two buyers of our property. Laura from Shortland Horne was worth her weight in gold through the whole process. Laura acted very professionally (even though sometimes the whole affair was completely exasperating for us both) from start to finish and I honestly don't think we would be in our new house now without her support. My ending thought is that you get what you pay for and Laura's support was prices less.
