Even during a difficult time that included the disruptions of Christmas and New Year, you managed to complete the entire process of letting the flat to apparently excellent tenants in under four weeks.
Throughout the process, you have been attentive, pro-active, efficient, clear and crisp in communications, well-organised and unfailingly good humoured, and a pleasure to deal with at all times. This has been a striking contrast with my previous experience with other Edinburgh letting agents. It has been outstanding service from start to finish.
I can assure you that whenever the topic of letting agents comes up in conversation, I shall be singing your praises at every opportunity."

My flatmate Jude and I had been looking for a flat for 3 months and were starting to lose faith, but then Danny came along and saved the day! We had heard a couple of people grumble about Southside previously so didn't know what to expect, but we were delighted with the service!
After we submitted our application form, Danny kept us updated with what the next steps were after we'd been shortlisted, he made it easy to understand what additional information we needed to provide and was consistently supportive. Danny always got back to us quickly and when we went to sign the lease he was extremely helpful and answered all our questions as best as he could.

Ryan has been our property manager for our Morrison Street flat for the past three years. He has always been very diligent regarding tennant selection and has a good idea of suitable occupants. He is quick to respond to any issues that may arise. He is diligent regarding the condition of our property so we feel it it been well looked after and any small problems identified before they become an issue. He arranges regular inspections of our property so we can relax and know it's in good hands. If we are going to be away out of the country we know that he will take any sensible action on our behalf if necessary.

I've rented a 2 bedroom flat in Craigmillar for a little over a year (March 2014 - May 2015). The property was well kept and with the bay windows facing south, the place was very bright. The only downside when moving in was that the flat was very dusty and it took me a little longer moving in as some additional cleaning needed to be done.
Over the year some issues came up with the boiler and some small maintenance jobs needed to be done. Mark and the team at Southside were extremely responsive and an email always followed up with instructions to other parties what will be done when. I found this very helpful to know when other people are entering the flat. After works the flat was always left clean and tidy. I really found this a very positive point.
From the moment we cancelled our rent to actually moving out, many viewings were arranged for other possible tenants. I must say, I did not mind it too much, however, it would have been preferred if there were less visits and more people visiting at the same time. That's the only point preventing me from giving a 5 star review.
Leaving the flat went smooth too and once all matters were sorted regarding bills and the final check-out, Mark was very quick in following up and returning the deposit via LPS.
If anyone asks me to recommend them a letting agency, I would definitely suggest Southside Property management to them.

I recently changed firms to give Southside a try. After dealing with both Danny Briggs and Leah Birch I have found the reletting service through them exceptional. They are very speedy on replies, polite and address every question I emailed them. Unlike the previous firm I used! I let the flat within 2 weeks of listing it online. I also found their fee structure transparent and easy to choose which service I required (which was was initially made me switch firms). I've already booked in my gas safety certificate renewal through the firm they use which is also handy. So as a reletting service I can fully recommend using Southside.
