I bought a derelict (somewhat to my surprise )flat in Manchester at auction . This was my first purchase up North.Philip James were excellent in every respect in helping me remedy the situation.
Rob Cuffe advised me on the strategy and inherent values. How much it was worth as was, how much in a finished state , how much to refurb and what it could rent for. All his predictions turned out to be spot on.
Dan Smith advised me on builder selection and works specification, negotiated a reasonable price and supervised the works to a timely conclusion.
Jemma Donnelly was excellent in getting my flat rented out very quickly after the works were completed.She was very good at keeping me informed. We achieved a year's tenancy at the asking price to a good tenant with the money all paid up front. Immediately defrayed a large part of my refurbishment cost.
All in all , a bad situation was turned into a good situation within a few months. Thank you !

Wanted to purchase a buy to let property. Viewed on the same day as my first enquiry to Philip James 18 April 15. Completed on the purchase on 26 May 15. Libby was very helpful in helping organising to have the flat furnished. I completed the rental agreement on 1 June 15 and I was informed by Rob on 8 June 15 that tenants had been secured to start rental from 30 June 15. All surprisingly stress free. Thank you

Overall the company is very very good. During my 2 year stay they helped me out when there were issues. During the move out they were very quick to settle items once bills and that had been settled.
