Jo Anne kept on top of our sale, chasing vendor, their solicitors and maintaining communications, maintaining confidence especially when the process flagged. We were at the other end of the country so to have some one local making sure the house was ok, sorting the garden at one point and managing viewings was crucial for us. The house we bought was listed with Barton Kendal and our whole experience with them was very good. Jo-Anne acted as a great liason between us and the seller and also did a lot of work chasing up with the solicitors which is never an easy job. She was always available by phone, answered emails ... Just completed the sale of my property today via Barton Kendal. Fantastic service from Ian, Jo, Emma and all the team at BK. I wanted a quick sale at the best price I could secure and Ian's advice was invaluable in securing this. The service throughout could not have been better. All viewings and negotiations were promptly facilitated by the BK team, great communication meant I always knew what was happening and BK's co-ordination with solicitors was seamless. Both my son and I would like to formally thank Jo-Anne Tweedley for the continuous effort she made to ensure that this house move, my son's first, ran smoothly and completed as quickly as possible. Jo-Anne has been in constant contact with us (I'll miss our funny emails) and kept us up-to-date throughout. At times she had to get her Sherlock Holmes hat on in an effort to find out who and what was going on on the vendors side - she was very tenacious indeed - and we are very grateful. I dealt with both Jack and Je-anne although Jack was my main point of contact. I was extremely impressed with the level of service in what turned out to be a difficult and protracted transaction. The original valuation was a little optomistic but this is a reflection of a difficult market. This agent is friendly, open and cooperative but always professional giving both bad and good news sympathetically and positively. The advice given throughout was accurate and realistic. I can't speak highly enough of the whole experience.

I recently purchased a property advertised by Barton Kendal in Rochdale. Overall they are very professional, good communicators with excellent response times to get in touch and quick to arrange viewings and assist. This particular purchase was a tricky one for a number of reasons, however Jo-Anne battled through and got the result we needed and the sale completed with the estate agent showing great persistence in a set of tricky circumstances.
