Dave. Actually you need to understand that it's not always the tenant at fault. I admit there are terrible tenants out there. But I'm definitely not one of them. I have been brought up to respect other people's things. And to keep things clean and tidy and to look after them as they are my own. Since moving in I have brought a whole gardens worth of plants. My parents regularly come over to clean and dust it as I'm disabled with three herniated discs.

What agent could do to change your mind?
a) Have staff who are less rude over the phone.
b) Stop taking advantage of allegedly ignorant students.
c) Have better policies which they adhere to regarding viewings.
Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
