Having rented with JGP several times in the past and having spoken to many other people who have rented with them you will find several problems with JGP when renting.
No.1 ensure they carry out a very thorough check when you move in, they tend to "be in a rush" and only briefly check the house and will then attempt to charge you for things they missed due to this rush when you move out.
No.2 Be prepared to have your privacy invaded, JGP will send you letters informing you they are coming to carry out a property check around every 3 months. You will not be allowed to re-arrange these times if you will not be home due to work commitments etc. they will simply use a key and snoop around your house while you are not home if you refuse they will charge you a fee to re-arrange the appointments to a time which suits you.
N0.3 JGP will charge you for anything and everything when you leave the property in order to try and keep your deposit. We left a picture frame next to the bin for the bin men to take, the tried to charge £15 to have this removed when I said I would go and remove it myself they tried to tell me I am not allowed and must pay £15 to have an item removed which the bin men would have taken the next day anyway. They will charge you around £10 for a popped lightbulb to be replaced no matter how much you clean the property they will attempt to charge you for cleaning services.
Be very cautious with JGP when trying to get your deposit refunded, do not accept what they say and argue until your money is refunded, they have a habit of trying to keep the deposits of people, particularly young couples who don't know any better due to them being in there first home etc.
