Very reasonable fees- they were roughly the same fees as all the local agents in the area and in some instances they were more reasonable than the local agents, which was surprising.

What agent could do to change your mind?
The fees represent a big chunk of the budget when you move house and we didn't feel Winkworth earned it on this occasion. There presence is good and they attracted people to the property. However, no offers were made when they showed people around on the open day whereas two offers were made the day we showed prospective buyers around. Also, as mentioned above, they were passive and uninvolved when there were issues, leaving it to us and the other agents in the chain to sort things out. This changed when Sarah joined the process though and the review would have been positive if we had been shown the attention she gave us throughout the process.

Thank you for taking the time to provide a review , we appreciate all feedback. We are pleased you were happy with the marketing and the fact that we achieved in excess of the asking price for the property . The chain in this sale had to be repaired on several occasions and our work here was more in the background dealing with other agents and solicitors than uninvolved , though I do see how this can appear. We think that yes it is fair to pay 7% commission for finding a tenant in the first year . Nevertheless not so fair to charge an extra 5 % for the second term .This should be free . This fee is for finding a tenant and should only be payable in the first year . Many thanks

See above - Rentshield Direct were terrible. I would go to another agent to avoid them. Failure to see outside the box and 'computer says no' attitude made the process painful and required lots of time and effort on my part.
