Customer service is very important to Ward and Partners and it is disappointing but thankfully unusual that a valued client feels dissatisfied with any aspect of the high level of service we provide. For the record and due to many inconsistencies with the facts of the case we feel it appropriate to comment in response to this blog. The tenant failed to return the property in an acceptable condition, irrespective of our comments, the landlord has the final say due to this being a company let, falling outside of the protection of the various housing acts and tenancy deposit protection regulations. As such the tenants deposit was held as “agent for the landlord”. Ward and Partners ...

What agent could do to change your mind?
They could try applying some of the training that Arun Estate's website claims is given to each employee. They could change their attitude and offer some (even basic) level of customer service, which frankly is currently dismal. The vendor may be the 'paying customer' but you do need a buyer to make a sale, which is after all, supposed to be the point. Additionally, they could try sending experienced agency personnel out with prospective buyers who actually do know a bit about the property, the vendors position, and the local area rather than some gormless idiot who clearly has no interest or sales skill. Lastly, try being transparent. Don't lie to your buyers and try and keep vendors falsely in a bidding war. We all know the property market is a tough one at the moment, so don't alienate and antagonise people who are motivated to buy and who want to buy.

It has been investigated and acknowledged that a small independant Estate Agent in Rochester posted this comment as Miss Morgan left them to work for Ward and Partners. What agent could do to change your mind?
Answer the phone occaisionally Call customers back when you say you will. The price range is 100% annoying and unproductive 2 members of staff per branch are allowd to handle offers - they are never available - rediculous. Agents showing properties are clueless as to the basic features of properties and surrounding areas.

Very informative!!!!!!!!! In this scenario the landlord decided not to go with the original agent who let the property previously, as they were unhappy with the service. I have read some pretty bad reviews on Ward and Partners which surprises me. I’ve dealt with the Ramsgate Branch solely but through my work in consumer rights I have reviewed the performance of several lettings offices in KENT and not just Arun estates.
