JJJ, you're right, it is unusual (frustrating, even), but not uncommon. Sellers are often approached by family/friends/neighbours when they see or hear of a property coming to the market, particularly in the current climate. As a result, our terms dictate that Walkers will run the sale for an agreed fee percentage in the event of a private introduction. When sellers understand the pitfalls of personally handling a private sale, they're very pleased to retain our services. We aren't aware of ...
