You make me think that Your Move, Southampton is about to royally screw me. We also need to break the lease as I got a job in a different city. We discussed this when renewing the tenancy 6.5 months ago. They have raised the rent every year, and when we went to renew, a break clause for six months would have cost £20 more rent per month in addition to the already high raised rent. I knew this job opportunity was coming up, but I wasn't sure when it would be--it could have been 2 months or 6 mon ...

i put a holding deposit down in the bognor branch. All was going well referancing went in ,asked if i could move in a week later due to surgery there was no problem as was honest about having had past rent arreas, i get a call 2 days before hospital that i was declined because of this, im not sure why they didnt say in first place waste of time and money. ...

What agent could do to change your mind?
Provide the service they are being paid to do Train the staff to be professional, not just after the next commission Cap the number of properties under management to ensure there is a good service level provided for each customer

Absolutely disgusted with this agency. Rented a house with them but they did not mention the 'extra' charges which was not little but added up would be hundreds of pounds. Then argued that they have actually mentioned this when we signed the contract. Rubbish....

nothing. I am fed up with Your Move and I hope it goes bankrupt. Just beware that one day because of their way of business somebody just might bring them to court
