The fees were higher than our previous agent how're it sold in a week. Our previous agent had suggested that they could sell it if we dropped the price given that the house was a hard sell being "plonked" on the end of a row. Reeds managed to get us three offers in a week - sometimes you get what oh pay for...

Hi. We expect to pay around 300-350 for a Let Only fee. It depends on many things, that only you can decide. Our preference is a quick turnaround on vacant properties and we make our decisions on who we think will find a suitable tenant quickest at the most reasonable rent. It can take many months to make up a lost month's rent, if you hold out for the highest monthly value, or you go with an agent with a 'cheap' fee. ...

I guess everyone would complain about the fees as ‚£300 is quite a hit when added to the ‚£1250 for the deposit and first months rent. I on the other hand prefer the expertise that Reeds Rains showed and the trust i can have that all was done professionally. It also helps that Reeds Rains have been around for many years, i mean i can remember them as a kid, and i am 49 now.

Although extremely happy with the service, i was a bit surprised about the fees for the initial checks. I think in comparison to some other agents they were a little high. That being said because our property is now managed directly with the Landlord we may make some savings going forward

When a vendor fails to respond to three separate solicitors, it is very difficult to hold the sale together. Unfortunately this review is more a reflection of the overall bad experience, mainly created by the vendor's unexpected personal circumstances, which were outside of any legal professionals control ! A combination of the buyer's patience and faith and the negotiator's professionalism and dedication ensured that this one didn't fall through. ...
