We note your comments which are surprising as you agreed to take this flat, a one bedroom garden unit, at a much cheaper rent so you could carry out your own enhancements and it remained at low rent of just 950pnds for most of your tenancy. Thankyou for you review which is not in line with the many positive that we receive, You were made aware on many occasions that whilst we were the first port of call it was ultimately the Landlord who decided on maintenance and all matters financial. Where possible we would press on them the urgency but were not authorized to carry out works to your flat. £175 of fees does seem very steep. Although the viewing was conducted well, it was very quick, and I was in the office for no more than 10 mins to do the paper work, so not sure why it has to be so pricey. It was also frustrating that there was no card machine as I had to do a lot of leg work moving money about so I could do a bank transfer. But this doesn't detract from the good service Ben provided.
