500 mile round trip from the North of England to do a viewing. We were very keen cash/no chain buyers. Explained to Jackie, who met us for the viewing, that as soon as we were done, we were back on the road North, and I couldnt call until the next morning, but left her in no uncertain terms... Jackie, was poor. Not particularly interested in selling (was the offer already agreed prior to our viewing?) and she arrived in an old motorhome with a dog. Not a great impression of an agent. Greatly disappointed that the owners werent asked to hold out for us to return home, having asked Jackie to do so, and told her of our practical issue of having to return North immediately. Indeed, I cant think of any reason why an owner wouldnt just wait 12 hours knowing another offer was coming, unless this had been agreed prior to our viewing. Very poor and expensive experience on our behalf.
