This was my review - just an update! We have finally moved out of the flat, thank god! We have been 'allowed' to leave without any penalties, which suggests to me they knew they were wrong and couldn't fight us on our case. We have had our flat checked over which I completely understand is normal procedure and necessary. I had exactly the same problems. Mark never responded to my questions in e-mails when I had a complaint. I also had a tenant on HB who didn't pay rent on time, or sometimes at all. They have been reported to the Property Ombudsman due to all the problems they caused, and we are just waiting for the outcome. We probably wouldn't have bothered, but after talking to people they all know someone who used them and had problems, so they had taken them to the Ombudsman, and won, and their problems we ...

I wish I had seen this before I entered into a letting with Martin and co. I really feel sorry for the owners of the property I am letting. The supposed inventory inspector obviously missed a number of key items. Things like a film of grease across the kitchen faulty broken equipment which was reported as "excellent" one hand does not know why the other does!!! One says the chimney needs swept the other says the fire has a leak. The house is a nice house but like I said I feel sorry for the o ...

I've the same problem with them as a landlord. Promise you the earth until they have your signature, then nothing! Meant to have the full management service, so far not had one written report back on the checks they are contracted to do every quarter, or even verbal report. ...

What agent could do to change your mind?
Admit their sytem failed, or wan't acted upon correctly. Get the tenant out at their own expence, refund the management fees and get the repairs sorted out of their own pocket, or their liability insurance.
