I applied for a house to let and it was accepted by the landlord and I was asked to make the holding payment in 24 hours as they called me initially on a Sunday. Before moving in you pay 2 times and a half of the rent. They upped the price of the contact upon renewal. They charge for renewal and they will take as much out of the deposit as they possibly can upon leaving. They force you to get contents insurance which you must show them before moving in. They charge for pets - basically try will charge you for anything possible.
