Stupidly high initial valuation and could have done with more advice on preparing the property for market in the early stages, something that I then opted to do myself anyway. That said, property achieved final sale price well above the estimations of the other estate agents who we asked to quote so KFH really paid for themselves.

Agents fees seemed to be in line with any others I have come across. They were also clearly detailed and explained during the payment process. There haven't been any hidden, unexplained or surprise fees either, which I know can be the case with some agents.

KFH are not the most expensive agency that we found in terms of tenancy fees charged, but I still feel that the fees were high and I struggle to understand how agencies in general justify this. However, if you have the money for the fees, the service is excellent. Fees were: Inventory check-in ‚£130, Referencing ‚£54pp, Tenancy Agreement ‚£210 (all VAT inclusive).

What agent could do to change your mind?
Had KFH not been negligent in drafting the lease and serving the break notice, had KFH not duped us (or tried to dupe us) into unnecessary fees and had KFH not demonstrated consistent incompetence, would not have such a dim view of them. I wouldn't particularly care that KFH were rude had they been able to do their job.

What agent could do to change your mind?
The deal could have been completed if the agent would have communicated properly with the seller and buyer. No proper communication within the team of KFH. Managers should intervene when required.
