I'm afraid this is very difficult to respond to without a name or address, however we do not employ a Pete or Peter so we are confused in that respect. As a general point though, estate agents do not gazump. If any interested party insists on making a higher offer we are obliged to put it to the vendor. We discourage this practice if an offer has already been agreed, however we cannot prevent it. Gazumping can only occur where there is a buyer wishing to gazump and a seller wishing to accept - w ...
