Fees were a little higher than the competition but you get what you pay for! Compared to our experiences with other agents in the past, the higher fees are reflective of the better service we received from Gascoigne Pees.

underestimated, we in fact received a higher offer, but declined to follow that through as they wanted to mess about with structural surveys and we wanted to progress the sale without delay so opted for a lower cash buyer who could proceed fast.

Comment on agent fees
I know we paid below average compared to the rest of the country. (But London has crazy rates!) but I still feel it was a lot of money to pay. The house sold in under a week so really once the offer has been accepted what else do the agents have to do. (I'm sorry if that sounds like I am undermining estate agents) our solicitor has done a great deal of work for us and their fee was the same amount as the estate agents.
