We always pride ourselves at offering more as standard, so when we receive a review such as this one it is always disappointing, however in this case we do not feel that we have offered poor service. We have an obligation to present all offers to a vendor. If a vendor decides that they would like to accept an offer from a different buyer, they are free to make this choice. An offer is not simply a question of price - some vendors will take a lower offer for a chain-free or cash sale, etc. ...

the fees was ‚£350 for admin and additional ‚£150 for guarantor fee of which while scouting around are the highest fee was have be quoted and the service we received did not justifie the steepness of there fees as we have had better service for alot cheaper fee elsewhere

We do not believe this review to be genuine as we do not have a property in Banbury which fits this description and we have no problems of this nature. We would be exceptionally surprised to see any of our landlords this disgruntled as 97% of our customers rate us either 'fantastic' or 'recommended'. I finally moved out because I couldn't stand the agency any longer (even though I didn't want to move, I liked the flat and moving set me back healthwise - well done Gatekeeper!) and they tried to withhold part of my deposit for 'cleaning' and 'damage'. I sent a video to the DPS which clearly showed there was no damage and no cleaning to be done. In fact, the flat was cleaner when I moved out than it was when I moved in. What agent could do to change your mind?
For the agents to recognise when they have failed to deliver a good service, to actively try assist their customers and to apologise if the situation warrants it. I fear however these agents exist purely to make as much money as possible.

I had the same problem with them. The flat was cleaner when I left than it was when I moved in and then they had the cheek to try to steal part of my deposit for 'cleaning' and 'damage'. I challenged it and the DPS found in my favour and gave me every single penny back. The so-called inventory also didn't match the flat and it's contents so that had to be amended. The problem is, you have to sign the inventory before you're allowed to have the keys to the property but you don't know that unt ...
