DISGUSTING!!! My daughter was forced to pay a 'holding fee' for a property of £240 which she borrowed off her grandfather. Fenix property did not respond to most of our emails asking for our money back. Correspondence was slow, and bizarly letters were signed \"Your\'s sincerely Fenix Property\". This suggested a very unprofessional approach. I have used several Newcastle and Teesside based estate agents and they have always been professional in dealing with any concerns. However, this company is NOT professional in their dealings and did not apologise or acknowledge the trouble they had caused.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
